WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its men's and women's swimming and diving preseason polls on Wednesday, listing both the George Washington men's and women's programs first in their respective polls.
GW's men's team earned all seven of the league's first-place votes, unanimously chosen as the top contender again in 2025-26. GW's women's team was given seven of the league's 10 first-place votes, with two given to Richmond and one to Duquesne. The full A-10 preseason poll can be found below.
GW is going for its fifth-consecutive sweep of the A-10 Championships in the 2025-26 season. The Revolutionaries' men's program is hunting for its ninth conference title in the last 10 seasons, while GW's women's program is in search of its sixth A-10 Championship in the last seven seasons.
The first look at the 2025-26 Revolutionaries arrives on Saturday with GW's Buff vs. Blue intrasquad meet, before GW officially kicks off competition on Oct. 3-4 against Virginia Tech. Both meets will be held in the Smith Center as part of the season-long Smith Center 50th Anniversary celebration.
