Swimming & Diving Releases 2026-27 Schedule

GW swimming & diving has announced its 2026-27 meet schedule, featuring nine regular-season meets ahead of the 2027 Atlantic 10 Championships.
The Revolutionaries begin the year with an intrasquad exhibition Buff vs. Blue meet, held Sept. 26 at the Smith Center. The regular season gets underway on Oct. 3 when the team splits for dual meets as swimming heads to William & Mary, while diving goes to Navy.
GW will then participate for the second-straight year in The Dual Meet Tournament, where the Revolutionaries will compete in a loaded eight-team bracket, featuring Auburn, Florida State, George Washington, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Minnesota, Penn State and South Carolina. GW's first-round matchup features a dual vs. Auburn, leading to either a dual vs. Kentucky or Penn State in the semifinals or consolation semifinals.
The fall continues with dual meets at Navy (Oct. 28) and vs. Loyola Maryland (Nov. 7, Senior Day), which leads GW into its midseason invitationals. GW's final meets of 2026 come as swimming challenges the field at the Wolfpack Invitational (Nov. 18-21) and diving tests the competition at the Tennessee Diving Invitational (Nov. 19-21).
In the new year, GW will participate in three dual meets, hosting Towson at Smith Center (Jan. 15), before visiting Georgetown (Jan. 16) and Delaware (Jan. 23).
The Atlantic 10 Championships return to the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va., where GW's men's team will look for their record seventh-straight A-10 title, while GW's women's team will look to return to the top after finishing second last season, striving for its sixth A-10 title in the last eight seasons.
Both GW's men's and women's rosters return laden with talent, headlined by 2026 NCAA Championships qualifier Holden Thomas, and by reigning A-10 Most Outstanding Rookies Andres Brooks and Talya Erdogan. In total, GW returns six A-10 All-Conference Individual Champions, including Thomas, Brooks, Alessandro Borsato, Shae Stratton, Ben Sosnowski and Natalie Sens.
Following the A-10 Championships, GW will send qualifying swimmers and divers to the CSCAA National Invitational Championships and to the NCAA Championships.
The CSCAA NIC returns to the FAST Facility in Ocala, Fla., from March 11-13. Both the men's and women's NCAA Championships will be held at Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin, with the women's championships running from March 17-20, followed by the men's championship from March 24-27.
