GW swimming & diving saw 11 student-athletes from its 2025-26 rosters earn CSCAA Academic All-America honors, as both the men's and women's teams also captured Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Team recognition.
Senior standouts and NCAA Championships competitors Ava Topolewski and Olivia Paquette each earned Scholar All-America First Team accolades. To qualify for First Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher and participated in their national championship. Topolewski made her second career trip to the NCAA Championships in 2026, competing in the 1,650-yard freestyle, while Paquette qualified for NCAAs for the first time in her career, diving in the 3-meter competition.
Named to the second team from GW were Jadin Brown, Talya Erdogan, Alessandro Borsato, Ben Bradley, Andres Brooks, Daniel Choi, Daniel Nagy, Holden Wheeler and Michael Wood. Second Team selections must have also earned a 3.50 GPA or higher and met an NIC "A" time standard or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
GW's 11 Scholar All-Americans are the most in a single year in program history, topping the 2023 teams' 10 selections.
Both teams also were also named to the 2026 Spring Scholar All-America Team list. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2026 grade point averages and were required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition.
