Kapustka, Rodgers, Bohlke Race at UVA Invitational

Charlottesville, Va.- Headlined by Pierce Kapustka's heat victory and personal best in the 1500m, three GW men's track runners made a successful showing at the UVA Invitational on Friday evening.
Opening the evening in the 1500m were both Kapustka and Nic Rodgers. Kapustka led the way, winning his heat and recording a new personal best to finish 16th overall in 3:52.57. Rodgers followed in tow, recording a 3:59.69 to finish 47th in the field of 72.
Michael Bohlke was tested in the 5000m heat later in the evening and finished his section 16th overall in 14:12.01.
The Buff & Blue return to action tomorrow morning, heading to the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational in Baltimore, Md. GW's events are slated to begin at 11:10 a.m., and fans are encouraged to check GWSports.com for up-to-date information.
