George Washington outdoor track will send two of its student-athletes to the NCAA East Regional. The competition will be held at the University of Kentucky from May 27-May 30 in Lexington, Ky.
To qualify for NCAA-level competition, an athlete must claim one of the top 48 slots among all declared student-athletes in each individual event within the region.
Bohlke, the reigning A-10 champion in the 1,500-meter run, will take to the NCAA stage for the second time in as many years after earning a program-best, NCAA qualifying time of 3:40.66 at the Duke Invitational. His qualifying time also serves as the program's record in the event. Bohlke will race in the NCAA First Round on May 27 at 6:30 p.m.
Heidebrecht will represent the Buff & Blue for the first time at the NCAA Regionals in the women's triple jump. The Atlantic 10 silver medalist earned a personal and program-best 12.89m in her event earlier this season to make headway towards NCAA competition. Heidebrecht will contend in the triple jump in Lexington on May 30 at approximately 6 p.m.
