Bohlke, Heidebrecht to Represent GW at NCAA East Regional Wednesday-Saturday

GW's Mike Bohlke and Megan Heidebrecht are set to compete at the NCAA East Regional this week, hosted on the campus of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. The meet's live stats are available here, with ESPN+ coverage available each day.

Bohlke will race in the men's 1,500-meter run on May 27 at 6:30 p.m., marking his second-consecutive appearance at the NCAA East Regional. The reigning, two-time Atlantic 10 champion in the event earned qualification with a program-record time of 3:40.66 at the Duke Invitational earlier this season. The mark stands as the fastest 1,500m time in George Washington's program history.
Heidebrecht will make her GW NCAA Regional debut in the women's triple jump on May 30 at approximately 6 p.m. The A-10 silver medalist qualified for the meet after recording a personal-best and program-record jump of 12.89 meters earlier this outdoor season at the Virginia Challenge.
To qualify for NCAA regional competition, student-athletes must rank among the top 48 competitors in their respective events within the region.
