Tennis Travels to Saint Francis (Pa.) for Nonconference Match

WASHINGTON – With just four weeks left in the regular season, the George Washington tennis team will play its penultimate nonconference match of the season on Saturday, traveling to Edensburg to battle Saint Francis. Match time is slated for 11:00 a.m.
The Red Flash enter the week 10-5 overall, riding a three-match winning streak that includes victories over Long Island, Wagner and Bucknell. SFU will also host Seton Hall this weekend, welcoming the Pirates on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
Diana Zuba leads the Red Flash in singles wins this season, tallying a 12-2 overall record in the first flight. Dasha Chickina and Kelly Dowuona both have eight singles wins this season, second-best on the program. Six of Chickina's victories have come in second doubles and two in the third flight, while Dowuona's have been spread across flights two (2 wins), three (4 wins) and four (2 wins). Zuba and Chickina have also paired up for the most doubles wins this season, holding a 5-7 record for the Red Flash.
