Softball Stays Home with Four Games This Week at the GW Softball Field

WASHINGTON - Back home after winning its second A-10 series in as many tries, the George Washington University softball team will host four games at the GW Softball Field this week. The Revolutionaries will play a non-conference game on Wednesday (2:00 p.m.) vs. UMES, before welcoming the reigning A-10 Champion Dayton Flyers for a battle between first-place teams on Saturday (12:00 p.m. doubleheader) and Sunday (12:00 p.m.). Wednesday and Sunday's games will be streamed on ESPN+.Â
FEEL THE VERN TAILGATE
GW students and community members are invited to GW's Feel The Vern Tailgate this Saturday. The tailgate, which coincides with GW softball's doubleheader vs. Dayton and GW lacrosse's game vs. George Mason, begins at 11:30 a.m. on the Vern and features free food, prizes, giveaways and more.

Through two weekends of A-10 play, GW is in a four-way tie for first place in the league at 5-1, tied with Dayton, Saint Joseph's and George Mason. The Revolutionaries will play five games in the span of five days against two of the other top teams, as they host Dayton for three games this weekend and visit George Mason on Wednesday for a doubleheader.Â
