WILMINGTON, Del. – The George Washington tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback on Saturday afternoon to Delaware. The Revolutionaries fall to 4-3 on the season, while Delaware improves to 5-3.
For the first time this season, the Buff & Blue failed to win a match, dropping all nine to the Blue Hens on Saturday. Victoria Sasinka extended her first singles matches to three sets, eventually falling, 10-5, in the third.
The Buff & Blue return home to SETLC next weekend with two matches on the schedule. On Saturday, the Revolutionaries will battle Long Beach State at 12:45 p.m., then host A-10 foe Fordham on Sunday. The match with the Rams is set for 11:00 a.m.
