Lacrosse earns 2024 IWLCA Academic Recognition

WASHINGTON -- GW lacrosse has been recognized as an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Academic Honor Squad, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The squad has earned a spot on the Division I Academic Honor list for the 2023-24 academic year, maintaining a team cumulative GPA of 3.50. To be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must maintain a 3.20 or higher team GPA.Â
In addition to the team recognition, Alex Aufiero (Senior, Public Health, Katie Hipp (Junior, Cognitive Neuroscience), Everly Kessler (Junior, Politicial Science), Desiree Kleberg (Graduate, Epidemiology), and Yasmin Pang (Junior, Mechanical Engineering) earned spots on the IWLCA Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and possess a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
