WASHINGTON - The George Washington University softball team travels up to St. Bonaventure, N.Y., this weekend for the regular season finale at St. Bonaventure. The Revolutionaries and Bonnies will meet for a doubleheader on Saturday (12 p.m. & 2 p.m.) before playing the regular-season finale on Sunday (12 p.m.). All of the action this weekend will be streamed on ESPN+.Â
LAUTH TIES RECORD
With her walk in the fourth inning vs. Georgetown on Tuesday, first-year Mandy Lauth moved into a tie for first place on GW's all-time rookie walks list, tying Jenna Cone who set the record with 33 walks in 2017. Lauth needs to draw just one more free base in the last three games of the regular season to break the record and stand alone at the top of the list.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
The Bonnies are 4-36 this season, which includes a 3-20 mark in the A-10. The Bonnies non-conference win came on March 2 in a 8-6 win over Quinnipiac, while their conference wins came over Rhode Island (5-4), Fordham (4-3) and George Mason (3-2). St. Bonaventure was most recently swept in its doubleheader against Niagara, 4-1 and 6-0.
Kymora Wang leads the Bonnies offensively with a .284 AVG, .762 OPS and 16 RBI. Kendall Stull has earned two of the Bonnies' wins and has a 6.25 ERA in 40.1 innings pitched.
