AMHERST, Mass. – Following a 4-3 win on Senior Day against Georgetown, the George Washington tennis team fell 4-0 to UMass on Sunday afternoon.
The Minutewomen got out to a fast start in the match by claiming No. 2 and No. 3 doubles victories. UMass followed it up with wins in Nos. 2, 3 and 4 singles to secure the match victory.
GW returns to action Friday, April 12 to take on Saint Joseph's in Philadelphia. Match time is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
