Tennis Concludes Fall Season at UB Indoor Invite

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The George Washington tennis team completed its fall season this weekend, going 1-2 at the UB Indoor Invite hosted by the University of Buffalo. The Revolutionaries picked up a win against a team comprised of players from Niagara and Syracuse while falling to the host Bulls and St. John's.
The doubles pair of Madison Lee and Karen Verduzco finished 2-1 on the weekend, picking up victories against Syracuse and Buffalo. Senior Alejandra Ramirez was also part of two doubles wins during the event, earning a victory with teammate Victoria Sasinka against Niagara, then recording a win against Buffalo with Solange Skeene.
Skeene was also stellar in singles action, finishing a perfect 3-0 on the weekend. She was the lone Revolutionary to go unbeaten in singles action. Lee and Ramirez also earned one win apiece for GW, the only other victories in singles action for the GW Revs.
