PHILADELPHIA - GW rowing took on some of the area's top competition at this past weekend's Head of the Schuylkill regatta and saw two of its boats earn medals at the prestigious event.
GW's four placed third in the Championship Fours (out of 53 boats), ahead of A-10 foe Saint Joseph's while GW's second-ranked boat finished eighth, ahead of Fordham's top competitor.
GW's V8 posted a second-place finish out of 22 competitors in the Championship Eights while the 2V8 recorded a 14th-place finish.
