GW tops Saint Joseph’s on Senior Day
WASHINGTON – GW women's tennis concluded its regular season with a 6-1 win over visiting Saint Joseph's on Sunday. GW previously dropped a 4-0 decision to Fordham on Saturday at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center.
The Buff & Blue swept the doubles matches on Sunday and won five of the six singles matches to set the final margin. Stella Wiesemann, Gabriela Giraldo, Alejandra Ramirez, Sarah Bodewes and Lara McNaughten each won their respective singles matches to earn the 6-1 victory on Senior Day.
On Saturday, GW dropped the early doubles point and three singles matches in straight sets, falling to the Rams, 4-0.

DOUBLES
