Hrinda finishes t-4th individually
FOX CHAPEL, Pa. -Â GW men's golf rounded out the regular season with a t-6th finish at the RedHawk Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami (Ohio). Jakub Hrinda led the Buff & Blue with a t-4th finish individually.
GW came out strong on Monday in the first 36 holes, finishing the day in second place as a team and just six shots behind first-place Marquette. The Buff & Blue posted the lowest team score in the second round with a 6-over 290, highlighted by Hrinda's 2-under 69.
Tuesday proved to be a tough day for the field all around, as only one team finished below 4-over. The Buff & Blue shot an 18-over 302 to finish the tournament with a 33-over 885.
Hrinda shot a 1-over 72 on Tuesday to finish 2-over overall, three shots off the pace of co-champions Cole Ekert of Richmond and Nate Adams of North Dakota State.
