GW earns four singles wins in the victory
PITTSBURGH – George Washington women's tennis picked up a 4-3 win over Duquesne on Friday at the Pittsburgh Alpha Tennis and Fitness Center.
Stella Wiesemann and Gabriela Giraldo won their respective doubles match, but GW dropped the doubles point after falling in its second and third flights.
In singles play, Giraldo clinched the fourth singles win for the Buff & Blue to lift GW over the Dukes. Wiesemann, Sarah Bodewes and Charlotte Bell also won their respective singles matches to help GW to victory.
