GW wins second straight vs. A-10 foe
WASHINGTON - GW women's tennis earned a 4-2 victory over Atlantic 10 rival Rhode Island on Saturday afternoon, winning its second-straight game against a conference opponent.
After splitting the first four singles matches behind straight-set victories from Charlotte Bell and Lindsay Thompson, GW pulled out the triumph thanks to wins in the top two positions. Gabriela Giraldo won in straight sets at No. 2., and Stelle Wiesemann bounced back to win in three sets at No. 1 to clinch the victory.
