Women’s Tennis Visits Duquesne on Friday

WASHINGTON – George Washington women's tennis will head to Duquesne on Friday for a 10:30 a.m. first serve at Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh.
LAST TIME OUT
Lindsay Thompson earned GW's lone singles win in a 4-1 loss vs. UMass on Saturday. Stella Wiesemann and Gabriela Giraldo won their third-straight doubles match at the No. 1 flight, but a pair of Minutewomen wins at the second and third flight helped UMass clinch the doubles point.
SCOUTING DUQUESNE
The Dukes are 6-5 overall and 1-0 in A-10 play after a 4-3 win over Saint Joseph's last Saturday in their conference opener. Jasa Roka leads Duquesne with nine singles wins, and Daniela Latoni has six singles wins for the Dukes. In doubles, Daniela Latoni/Margot Pessy and Ana Utrilla Benito/Natasha Novak lead Duquesne with five doubles wins.
