Women’s Indoor Track Gears Up for VMI Winter Relays

14 runners will compete on Friday in Lexington, Va.
WASHINGTON – George Washington women's indoor track continues its 2023 campaign on Friday when the team travels down to Lexington, Va., to take part in the VMI Winter Relays, hosted by the Virginia Military Institute.
In the Colonials' last meet, six different runners set personal best times. Leading the way was first-year Emma Benzinger, who set a new school record in the 60M dash (8.31) in just her third time competing in the event. Benzinger will lace up her running shoes in the event again on Friday.
In total, 14 runners will compete across four events down at the VMI Corps Training Facility. Meet details can be found below:
2:50 p.m. - Women's 60M
