GW hosts Army on Friday looking for 2-0 week
WASHINGTON – GW women's tennis picked up its second straight win on Thursday, topping Marquette, 4-3, at the Montgomery TennisPlex.
The visitors swept the doubles flights to clinch the first point. Then, Gabriela Giraldo, Sarah Bodewes, Lindsay Thompson and Charlotte Bell each won their respective singles matches to bring GW to victory.
Giraldo picked up her fourth straight singles win and now leads the team with four wins at the No. 2 flight.
GW hosts Army at the JTCC in College Park, Md., on Friday at 1 p.m.
