Vault lineup scores second-straight 49.050
RALEIGH, N.C. – GW gymnastics scored a 195.250 at NC State on Saturday as part of a second-place finish behind the host Wolfpack who scored a 196.650. Pitt rounded out the three-team field with a 195.150.
GW scored its second-straight 49.050 on vault, a 48.875 on bars, 48.775 on beam and a 48.550 on floor.
Deja Chambliss led GW on vault for the second-straight week with a 9.850. The Chesterfield, Va., native also led the team on beam with a 9.800 and tied for first on bars alongside Libby Garfoot with a 9.875. Chambliss and Garfoot finished third overall in the event.
First-year Deana Sheremeta paced the floor rotation with a 9.825, her second-consecutive score above the 9.800 mark on the event.
ROTATION ONE – BARS (48.875)
GW began the afternoon on bars, besting its score from its season opener by .875. Chambliss and Garfoot led the beam lineup and Rachel Katz added a 9.800. Anneliese Silverman posted a 9.725, Marlee York scored a 9.600 and Hannah Munnelly recorded a 8.775.
ROTATION TWO – BEAM (48.775)
GW scored its second-straight 49.050 on vault, a 48.875 on bars, 48.775 on beam and a 48.550 on floor.

Sheremeta led the floor lineup with her 9.825 and Silverman posted a 9.750. York added a 9.675 and Payton Lynch and Kendall Whitman added two 9.650s. Chambliss finished the floor lineup with a 9.150.
ROTATION FOUR – VAULT (49.050)
Following Chambliss' 9.850 in GW's final event, Whitman added a 9.825, Katz and Zois added a pair of 9.800s, York posted a 9.775 and Silverman recorded a 9.675.

The Buff & Blue will visit North Carolina next weekend for a dual meet at Carmichael Arena on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Sheremeta led the floor lineup with her 9.825 and Silverman posted a 9.750. York added a 9.675 and Payton Lynch and Kendall Whitman added two 9.650s. Chambliss finished the floor lineup with a 9.150.

Following Chambliss' 9.850 in GW's final event, Whitman added a 9.825, Katz and Zois added a pair of 9.800s, York posted a 9.775 and Silverman recorded a 9.675.
