Womble leads GW to 2-1 weekend at Bucknell Invitational

Womble helped GW volleyball to a 2-1 weekend at the Bucknell Invitational on Friday and Saturday, posting her first-ever double-double with 20 kills and 10 digs in GW's five-set win over LIU. Womble's 20 kills were good enough for a career-high.
The junior from Wilmington, N.C., recorded 13 kills in GW's sweep of NJIT on Saturday, boasting a career-high .478 hitting percentage to tally her fourth double-figure match of 2022. Womble's team-leading 13 kills helped GW to its most efficient match this season, recording 41 kills behind a .247 hitting percentage.
Womble will look to help the Buff & Blue extend their two-match win streak when they welcome Binghamton and Rider to the Smith Center on Friday.
