Barahona leads GW golfers, tying for sixth overall

POTOMAC, Md. – GW golf finished third at the Howard/San Francisco Intercollegiate on Tuesday. GW's 40-over-par, 880 (286-295-299) was good enough for the third spot among the nine competing teams at TPC Potomac.

First-year Rodrigo Barahona led GW with a five-over-par 215 (72-69-74). Barahona shot one-under-par in the second round to help to his sixth-place finish.

Jakub Hrinda finished ninth overall with a six-over-par 216 (71-76-69). Manuel Barbachano tied for 12th overall with a 13-over-par 223 (72-72-79).

GW has now finished in the top three of both of its tournaments this fall.
