Men's Soccer Earns Academic Recognition

Buff & Blue compiled a cumulative 3.30 GPA for 2021-22 school year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - In celebration of its continued excellence in the classroom, GW men's soccer was recognized with the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award on Thursday.
It's the fourth straight season the Buff and Blue have received the award and the ninth time in 10 years under Head Coach Craig Jones.
The national organization honored a total of 220 men's teams across all NCAA divisions with composite grade point averages of 3.0 or better for the 2021-22 academic year.
GW made the list with a combined cumulative GPA of 3.30 across the two semesters.
The Buff and Blue placed 19 student-athletes on the 2021-22 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, a group led by two-time A-10 All-Academic selection Sandro Weber.
GW kicks off the 2022 season Aug. 25 with a home match on the Mount Vernon Campus vs. William & Mary. Check out the full schedule here.
