WASHINGTON – The George Washington men's soccer team fell, 1-0, to DMV foe George Mason on Saturday afternoon. The Revolutionaries drop to 2-7-2 overall and 0-3 in A-10 action.

- 60th Minute: After a scoreless first half, George Mason's Jacobo Sanfeliu scored the match's only goal after receiving a lead pass from Sergio Fernandez on the break. Sanfeliu received the ball and rocketed a shot past GW's keeper, buying the ball in the lower left corner of the goal.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- The Patriots finished with a 14-11 advantage in shots, including a 5-4 edge in shots on goal.
- Tom Macauley played all 90 minutes in net for the Revolutionaries, recording three saves.
- Pat Altamirano and Ben McGovern paced GW's offense with two shots apiece; both players tallied one shot on target.
- GW did not take a corner kick in the match, compared to seven for George Mason.
