
Men’s Soccer Goes to Battle Against Saint Louis at The Vern on Wednesday, Visits Saint Joseph's Saturday

WASHINGTON – GW men's soccer is looking to make an impact in the A-10 standings this week with two conference matchups ahead. On Wednesday, the Revolutionaries will welcome Saint Louis to The Vern for a 3:00 p.m. kickoff, before traveling to face Saint Joseph's at 2:00 p.m. in Philadelphia on Saturday. Saturday's matchup will be streamed on ESPN+.

Tom Macauley has been stacking up saves in net for the Revolutionaries this season. The junior netminder from Filey, England, has played every minute of GW's 11 matches and has accumulated 53 saves – good for nearly five saves per match. Macaulay's 53 saves top the A-10 and rank third in the NCAA.

The Billikens enter play on Wednesday with a 5-2-4 record, including an undefeated 2-0-1 mark in the A-10. Saint Louis defeated Duquesne (1-0) and La Salle (2-1) before tying Dayton (0-0) on Saturday. The Billikens are coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance last season, when they earned an at-large bid after falling in the A-10 Championship match, before falling to Kansas City (2-0) in the opening match. Saint Louis leads the all-time series against GW, 9-3-1, and has won each of the last five meetings dating back to 2018.
