WASHINGTON – GW men's soccer and UMBC tied, 3-3, in GW's non-conference finale on The Vern on Tuesday afternoon. Despite leading late in the second half, the Retrievers capitalized on an opportunity with less than a minute left in the match to earn the draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED
13TH MINUTE: UMBC's Jojo Ocran rose high to head a Retriever corner kick into GW's net to open the scoring. Kofi Amoah assisted with the corner kick delivery.
22ND MINUTE: Colin Prendergast scored his second goal of the season, equalizing the match the same way UMBC took the lead – on a header from a corner kick. Alex Nicholson sent in the corner and earned the assist.
27TH MINUTE: The Revolutionaries took the lead minutes later, scoring off another set piece as a Louis Saville cross made its way to Jaden Dubon, who pushed his header past the UMBC keeper for the goal, his first of the season.
47TH MINUTE: Louis Crofts gave the Buff & Blue a two-goal advantage just out of halftime, ripping a shot to his right as he dribbled left and around two UMBC defenders. Tommaso Lami assisted.
57TH MINUTE: A build-up in play led to a UMBC shot, which GW goalkeeper Tom Macauley made the initial save on, but the rebound found the foot of the visitor's Ricky Schissler, who tucked home the goal. Ryan Calheira earned an assist from the initial shot.
90TH MINUTE: With just 42 seconds to play, UMBC tied the match when Trajan Robeson centered the ball to Brady Geho for a tap-in goal.
