Lacrosse Receives 2022 IWLCA Academic Honors

Seven student-athletes earn individual recognition
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – GW lacrosse has been recognized as an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Academic Honor Squad, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The team recorded a 3.32 combined GPA for the 2021-22 academic year. To be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must maintain a 3.20 or higher team GPA. The organization recognized 295 schools and 870 student-athletes from 94 different institutions.
Allison Brown (3.53), Kendall Lambert (3.69), Megan Patrick (3.73), Brynn Smith (3.72), Brianna Vaughan (3.73), Sophia Watkinson (3.91) and Kianah Watson (3.73) earned spots on the IWLCA Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and possess a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
