Hrinda and Riboud Named All-America Scholars

Rising seniors earn academic recognition
NORMAN, Okla. – Jakub Hrinda and Hugo Riboud of GW golf have been named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Thursday.
Hrinda earns his first Srixon/Cleveland All-American Scholar recognition after excelling this academic year with a 3.94 GPA as a double major in economics and neuroscience. Riboud also saw success in the classroom with a 3.60 GPA as a business major.
The pair join a list of 440 honorees recognized across the Division I level, requiring individuals to be a sophomore, junior or senior, maintain a minimum 3.20 overall GPA and have participated in 50 percent of the team's competitive rounds while recording a stroke average under 76.0.
