Graduate student competed on national stage for second straight season
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Graduate student Margaret Coogan found herself on the national stage for the second straight season, competing on behalf of the Buff & Blue in the 3000m steeplechase on Saturday.
Going head-to-head with the nation's best, Coogan crossed the finish line in a time of 10:41.28, which was 43rd among all competitors.
Coogan's NCAA appearance caps off an impressive year that saw her take home All-Conference honors in both Track and Field and Cross Country. Additionally, Coogan ends her career as the first track athlete in GW history to appear in two NCAA first rounds.
