Women's Rowing Posts Strong Times at Overpeck Invite

Colonials faced A-10 foes Saint Joseph's, Rhode Island and Massachusetts
LEONIA, N.J. -Â GW women's rowing went head-to-head with multiple A-10 competitors on Lake Overpeck on Saturday, earning top-3 finishes in three of its four boats.
All four boats posted their best times of the season while taking on A-10 opponents Saint Joseph's, Rhode Island and UMass in addition to Connecticut and Marist. The V8 and 2V4 won their respective heats in the preliminaries to make the grand final, while the 2V8 came in second to advance as well.Â
In the finals, the 2V8 and 2V4 earned second-place finishes while the V8 placed third and the V4 won the petite final.
GW is back in action next weekend when it takes part in the George's Cup on Sunday, April 17.
