Women's Rowing Set for George's Cup on Sunday

Colonials ready for annual showdown with George Mason and Georgetown
WASHINGTON -Â GW women's rowing will take part in its final official competition before the A-10 Championship next month when it competes in the George's Cup this Sunday in Fairfax Station, Va. The Colonials will square off with George Mason and Georgetown in the annual event.
LAST TIME OUT:Â GW earned three top-three finishes at the Overpeck Invite last weekend competing against Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Saint Joseph's, Marist and Connecticut. The 2V8 and 2V4 finished second in their respective grand finales, the V8 came in third and the V4 won the petite final.
COACH ROBLES' TAKE:Â "We're feeling good about our V8 coming off last week as we continue to set our sights on A-10s in a month. Our 2V8 has some ways to go and our V4s are coming along well. This weekend will be a good test for us against some local rivals."
