Track & Field Smashes One Final School Record Before A-10 Championships

Women's DMR sets new GW high mark at Penn Relays
PHILADELPHIA - In its final tune-up before the A-10 Championship, George Washington track & field once again did what it had done all season long: break school records.
The women's track team crushed its previous record in the distance medley relay by more than nine seconds, finishing in a time of 11:45.73. Friday's record is the ninth new GW record this spring, and it is the second time this track & field season that the DMR team of Margaret Coogan, Julia Dempsey, Brittany Wilkinson and Kathryn Nohilly have broken a GW high mark (the team set a new record in the Indoor DMR back in February at the A-10 Championships).
