Lacrosse Advances to A-10 Championship

GW earned No. 6 seed in postseason play
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Following its 13-8 win over VCU, GW lacrosse earned a postseason bid into the Atlantic 10 Championship as the No. 6 seed, the conference announced on Saturday.
GW and No. 3 Saint Joseph's will play in the quarterfinals on Thursday, April 28, at Garber Field in Amherst, Mass. Opening draw is scheduled for 2 p.m., with live coverage available via ESPN+. The winner of Thursday's contest will match up with No. 2 Richmond in the semifinals on Friday at 2 p.m.
GW capped its 2022 season 5-12 overall and 3-6 in conference play.
