Track & Field Sets Several Records at Colonial Relays

Colonials shatter school record in the women's and men's 4x1500m
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - George Washington track & field brought their A game to the Colonial Relays this weekend, breaking a pair of GW records while also taking home a win in the women's steeplechase.
The Buff & Blue women's and men's 4x1500m relay teams demolished the previous GW record in the event. The men's team crossed the finish line in a time of 15:53.56, shattering the previous school record by more than 50 seconds. Meanwhile, the women's team came across in a time of 18:54.44, which easily beat the old event time by 17 seconds.
Kathryn Nohilly also captured her first win of the outdoor track season in the women's steeplechase. The graduate student finished the event in a time of 10:25.19.
In addition to this weekend's school records and individual win, the Buff & Blue also set six personal records and recorded 11 top-10 finishes.
