Colonials take to the Susquehanna for second Spring event
WASHINGTON - GW women's rowing is back in action on Saturday morning, taking part in a double dual with Bucknell and North Carolina in Lewisburg, Pa. The Colonials will battle the host Bison at 8 a.m. followed by a dual with North Carolina at 11 a.m. on the Susquehanna River.
LAST TIME OUT: GW opened its spring season with the weather-shortened Doc Hosea Invitational. Facing an impressive field and challenging conditions, the Colonials placed sixth in their heats of the V8, 2V8, V4 and 2V4.
ABOUT BUCKNELL:Â The Bison also opened their season at the Doc Hosea Invitational, finishing fifth in their heat of the V8, third in the 2V8 and second in the 3V8.
ABOUT UNC: North Carolina competed in a double dual last weekend against Tennessee and UCF. The Tar Heels earned victories over UCF in the V4 and Tennessee in the 2V4.
