First serve set for Tuesday at 11 a.m.

WASHINGTON – GW women's tennis will host East Carolina for a Tuesday matchup at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center. First serve is set for 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
On Saturday, GW bounced back after dropping its recent pair of matches, shutting out Howard, 4-0. Stella Wiesemann earned her fifth singles victory of the season. Lindsay Thompson and Alexandra Vesikallio defeated their opponents in straight sets. Thompson tallied her third singles win of the spring slate and Vesikallio picked up her second. In doubles play, Katarina Marinkovikj and Wiesemann earned their third win as a pair.

PREPARING FOR THE PIRATES
ECU sits at 2-5 overall and will visit Georgetown before matching up with GW on Tuesday. The Pirates' pair of wins came vs. Appalachian State and UNC Greensboro. Ines Bachir, Alisha Hussain and Martina Muzzolon all lead the Pirates with six singles wins. Muzzolon and Hussain have held the top two singles spots for ECU, respectively.
