Wisemann, Vesikallio, Thompson earn singles victories
WASHINGTON – GW women's tennis shut out the Howard Bison on Saturday, 4-0.
Stella Wiesemann and Katarina Marinkovikj and Alexandra Vesikallio and Alejandra Ramirez clinched the doubles point for the Buff & Blue, each earning 6-2 victories.
Wiesemann and Vesikallio went on to win their respective singles matches, and Lindsay Thompson defeated her opponent in straight-sets, helping GW to its third victory of the season.
The Buff & Blue will host East Carolina on Tuesday at 12 p.m., at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center.
