Lacrosse Prepares for Raise High Harvest

Collection day set for Nov. 18
GW lacrosse is set to sponsor the 11th annual Raise High Harvest, which provides Thanksgiving baskets filled with food and toiletries to local families in need during the holiday season. The baskets will be delivered to Saint Rita's Church.Â
Like years past, GW is collecting non-perishable food items, including Thanksgiving staples such as canned vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, stuffing mix and cranberry sauce. Raise High Harvest also strives to collect toiletries, including soap, shampoo and toothpaste, to add to the baskets.
Baskets and monetary donations will be collected outside the Charles E. Smith Center on Friday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. GW lacrosse will also have additional collection opportunities at all men's and women's basketball games on Nov. 7, 10 and 11.Â
