Steeplechase Highlights Opening Day of A-10 Championship

GW racks up five top-10 finishes
FAIRFAX, Va. - GW outdoor track and field opened the A-10 Championship on Saturday afternoon, earning points in three races at George Mason.
On the women's side, GW went 4-5-6 in the 3000m steeplechase with Kathryn Nohilly, Margaret Coogan and Peri Pavicic each earning team points. Vivian Overbeck also earned points with a seventh place finish in the 10k.
James Glockenmeier had the best performance for the Buff & Blue men with a personal best time in the 3000m steeplechase with a fifth place finish.
Through six of 22 scored events, the Colonial women sit in seventh place with 14 points while the men are eighth with four points.
