Cross Country: Started her freshman year as a top competitor racing in seven meets for the Huskies… Started off the season at the Illini Challenge 5k (18:46.7) finishing in 14th place on Sept 2… Improved her personal best at the Country Financial Invitational 5k on Sept. 9 finishing in 12th place at 18:19.58… Ran a 23:32.0 at the Roy Griak Invitational 6k on Sept. 24, improving her times at the next two meets, Midwest Regional Preview (22:04.7) on Oct. 1 and Bradley Classic (21:50.4) on Oct. 15… Overbeck improved once again as she ended the season with a personal best of 21:36.0 at the NCAA Midwest Regional 6k on Nov. 11.
