Lacrosse Looks for Season Sweep of George Mason

Opening draw on Friday is set for 6 p.m.
WASHINGTON – The George Washington lacrosse team will visit George Mason on Friday for its second Revolutionary Rivalry matchup of the regular season. Opening draw is scheduled for 6 p.m.

GW had its comeback bid come up just short at VCU on Saturday, falling to the Rams, 11-7. The Buff and Blue put together a six-goal second half after being held to one goal in the first 30 minutes of play. Amber Germer led GW in scoring with two goals while Catie Perkins, Bailey Aaron, Maddy O'Brien, Kendall Lambert and Katelyn Walker chipped in one apiece.

A-GAME AARON
A first-year from Basking Ridge, N.J., Aaron has scored in all but one game for GW this season. Aaron's 12 goals put her in a tie for third on the team in scoring. Aaron has recorded a pair of hat tricks after netting four goals vs. Richmond and three goals against Davidson. Aaron led GW on its comeback trail against Richmond, scoring three of her career-high four goals in a span of two minutes to pull GW within one.

A LOOK AT THE PATRIOTS
Since visiting GW on March 20, George Mason has dropped three-consecutive contests including two Atlantic 10 matchups vs. Davidson and VCU. Erin Donoghue and Deanna Balsama continue to lead the team in scoring with 13 and 12 goals, respectively.

Following the postponement of Sunday's contest at Richmond, GW looks ahead to a pair of A-10 matchups next weekend when it visits Davidson on Friday and hosts VCU on Sunday.
