WASHINGTON – The George Washington lacrosse team will travel to Richmond, Va., on Saturday for a 1 p.m. matchup against the VCU Rams.

LAST TIME OUT
GW played nationally ranked Richmond to the final minute of play last Friday before falling to the Spiders 15-14. Bailey Aaron led GW, scoring a career-high four goals, while Alana Greene netted three goals to tie her season-high.

In the same weekend, GW hosted Davidson, dropping its second-consecutive game, 18-7. Aaron once again led the team in scoring, tallying three goals. The Buff and Blue held the 26-20 advantage on ground balls and took 22 shots, putting 13 on net.

A LOOK AT VCU
VCU is 5-4 overall and 1-1 in conference play after a recent 22-12 victory at George Mason. The Rams have three different student-athletes who have scored 15 or more goals, highlighted by Juliana George, who leads the Rams in goals (24) and assists (15).
