Women's Rowing Duels with Navy Saturday

Colonials prime for first dual meet of the season
WASHINGTON -Â GW women's rowing heads to Annapolis, Md., this Saturday to take on Navy in dual meet action.Â
The Colonials are coming off three top-3 finishes last week at Overpeck Park, finishing second in the V8 and 2V8 while racking up a third place finish in the V4. The Buff & Blue improved on their times in all three boats from their first outing of the year with the V8 and 2V8 both clocking in under 6:50.
Navy is the five-time defending champion of the Patriot League and is coming off a victory over Northeastern two weeks. Its V8 was named the Patriot League Boat of the Week for its efforts.
