Lacrosse Set to Visit Old Dominion on Saturday

GW will look to secure its first win of the season
WASHINGTON- The George Washington lacrosse team is set for its first road test of the season when it heads to Norfolk, Va. on Saturday to face Old Dominion. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
GW dropped its season opener at home last weekend against Navy, 22-2. Ioanna Mantzouratos and Sophia Watkinson combined to score GW's two goals. Watkinson's goal marked the first of her GW career after transferring from Drexel in the offseason. Keeper Megan Patrick recorded nine saves.
MEET THE MONARCHS
ODU enters Saturday after winning its second-straight contest on Wednesday, 17-4, over Delaware State. Lilly Siskind leads the team in scoring with 10 goals behind a pair of four-goal efforts in two games this season. The Monarchs sit at 2-2 overall.
THE ROAD AHEAD
GW will make the short trip to American on Wednesday for a midweek matchup against the Eagles. Opening draw is scheduled for 12 p.m.
