Lacrosse to Visit James Madison on Tuesday

GW will look to continue its three-game winning streak
WASHINGTON -Â The George Washington lacrosse team will travel to No. 24 James Madison on Tuesday for a weekday matchup against the Dukes. Opening draw is set for 3 p.m.
With a win, the Buff and Blue can extend their winning streak to four and sit at 4-1 on the season.Â
LAST TIME OUTÂ
GW topped Longwood on Saturday, 11-10, after a game-winning overtime goal by Alana Greene. Ioanna Mantzouratos led the team in scoring with three goals and one assist. GW spread out its offense with seven different players each recording a goal.Â
In net, Megan Patrick made seven stops, including a last second save after a game-winning attempt from Longwood. Â

In the latest IWLCA Coaches Poll, the Dukes earned the No. 24 spot following its 20-goal victory against Wofford, 21-1. JMU is 3-1 overall and has seven players with five or more goals on the season.Â

Following Tuesday's game, GW will return home on Saturday to open up A-10 play against George Mason. Opening draw is scheduled for 3 p.m.Â
