Senior runs eighth-fastest time in program history

MECHANICSVILLE, Va. - Senior Kathryn Nohilly posted the eighth-fastest 5k time in program history on Friday afternoon, highlighting the performance of the GW cross country team at the season-opening Richmond Invite.

NOTES

• Nohilly was the women's team's top finisher in a time of 18:05.6, 31 seconds better than her previous best. She finished fifth in the competition.

• Nohilly was joined by senior Margaret Coogan (sixth) in securing top-10 finishes in the season-opening event.

• Senior Olivia Horgan blasted her previous PR by 35 seconds, finishing 13th with a time of 18:36.4.

• Sophomores James Glockenmeier and Lucas Brown competed as individuals for the men's team, finishing seventh and 17th, respectively.
