Women's Basketball signs Nyanna Robertson, Caia Loving to National Letters of Intent

Colonials introduce first members of Class of 2022
WASHINGTON - GW women's basketball head coach Caroline McCombs announced the signings of Nyanna Robertson and Caia Loving to national letters of intent on Friday. The additions of Robertson and Loving capped off a signing period that saw George Washington bring home one of the program's highest-ranked recruiting classes according to the Collegiate Girls Basketball Report, including a top-50 signee.
"We are thrilled to welcome Nyanna and Caia to Foggy Bottom," McCombs said. "It was important for us to attract the right people to continue to develop our program's overall culture, and these two young women will help us build upon our foundation. Our staff did a terrific job finding a point guard and a center, which were priorities for us."
Nyanna Robertson
5'7" // G // Ft. Worth, TX // Boswell HS
A native of the Lone Star State and one of the highest-ranked recruits to sign with GW, Robertson joins the Colonials with an impressive high school resume that includes two district MVP awards, two First Team All-District honors, and two Fort Worth Star Offensive MVP awards. She entered the 2021 signing period as the #37 overall ranked recruit and the #8 overall ranked guard according to the Collegiate Girls Basketball Report.

Caia Loving
6'3" // C // Upper Marlboro, Md. // Riverdale Baptist
A native of the DMV, Loving brings a combination of smarts and skills to George Washington's recruiting class. On the court, Loving's high school resume includes success at Henry Wise High School, where she took home a WElite Showcase Championship and an MPSSAA Playoff victory. This year, Loving will be playing at Riverdale Baptist, where she'll be facing off with some of the best competition in the DMV. Meanwhile, in the classroom, Loving has excelled academically with 4.1 GPA.
