Women’s Tennis Adds Charlotte Bell

Bell to join Colonials for the Fall 2020 season
WASHINGTON – George Washington women's tennis head coach Torrie Browning has announced the addition of Charlotte Bell to the Colonials' roster for the 2020-21 season.
Bell (Great Falls, Va.) is set to join the Buff and Blue in the fall, joining fellow newcomers Lindsey Thompson (Towson, Md.) and Stella Wisemann (Jena, Germany).

High School: Four-star player from Langley High School … ranked second in Virginia and 169th nationally … ranked 30th on the Hot 100 list for tennis recruiting in August 2018 … made it to the quarterfinals in doubles at clay courts in the summer of 2018 … also competed with the Mid-Atlantic Intersectionals Team in 2018 … competed with the Mid-Atlantic Zonals Team for three consecutive years (2016, 2017, 2018) … played as a member of the Mid-Atlantic Fed Cup Team in the summer of 2019 … member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Leadership Honor Society … received the Langley High School Academic Award in 2018 and 2019 … member of the Saxon Minds Matter.
Bell on choosing GW: "I am thrilled to become a part of George Washington University's women's tennis team. I cannot wait to see what we all accomplish together. Raise High!"
Browning on Bell: "I am extremely excited Charlotte will be joining us this fall. She has an incredible work ethic and a great attitude. I know she will thrive in our program, and I am really excited to see how she will continue to develop on and off the court."
